For almost 30 Years, we have been dedicated to promoting the sport of fencing at both the competitive and recreational levels.
Despite the brand newness of our Newtown location, we are Connecticut's oldest and most decorated fencing club. We are so honored to have been ranked the highest in Connecticut by National Fencing Club Rankings' list of "Best Fencing Clubs" last year! We know our success is all thanks to you, our community, for allowing us to serve you and the fencers in your family, and for that we thank you!
From our little Musketeers to our World Team Members, National Champions and many NCAA Recruits, we are dedicated to each individual that walks through our door. We offer personally tailored instruction for individuals and groups of all ages to ensure each student's learning, growth and fun in a nurturing environment.
Newtown Summer Camps
Summer Camp at Candlewood Fencing Center is an absolute blast! Beginners and seasoned fencers alike are welcome in each week. Camp runs weekly from July 11h to August 12th from 10am to 4pm at both our Norwalk and Newtown locations. Early drop-off and late pick-up is available at no extra charge.
Campers will engage in physical training, mobility, fencing footwork, bladework, tactical drilling and free fencing as a group. Each student will receive private lessons from different coaches throughout the week.
