Effective January 1, 2009
USFA membership is mandatory It
must be paid in the first signup period - $60.00 per year
(Insurance provider,
American Fencing magazine, US Fencing News Letter)

Option #1:
Monthly Membership: $75.00 per month
Monthly Group Classes-$60.00 per month
(Choose the months that you will participate)
Option #2:
Annual discount membership if paid in 4 installments:
$700.00
- ($175.00 per quarter)
Quarterly Membership: 175 per Quarter (3 months)
Quarterly Group Classes (Mon, Wed, Fri.-$150.00)
Must be a member all 4 quarters of the year

$630.00 annually

Family discount:
20% discount for three or more members.

This Class is taught by Alex Fotiyev and Tom Ciccarone and is an
introductory and intermediate sabre class that offers footwork and
bladework as well as time for open fencing

Foil Class-Novice - Intermediate

This class is taught by Alex Fotiyev and Erik
Hansen and
is a novice to intermediate level class and can be used as a stepping stone
to competitive fencing. The class is followed with 1 hour of open
fencing.
Adult Foil Class-Novice to
Intermediate
7:00-8:00 pm - Adult ed and parents of fencers
(There is a $150.00 fee per quarter for this group class)
This class is taught by Tom
Ciccarone and
is a novice to intermediate level class. It is a recreational class
but can be used as a stepping stone
to competitive fencing. The class is followed by open fencing until
closing.
Thursday:
Foil Tactical Class 4:30-5:30 Ages 10-16

Real Round Robin
tournaments are USFA-CT DIV events and will be conducted by USFA
rules. Any USFA member may participate. medals to 3 places will be
awarded and appropriate classifications will be earned. The entry
fee is $3.00 per event. Full equipment and USFA membership
required to participate.

The Mon., Wed., Fri.
and Sat. regular class format is:

The footwork segment of each group class is open to all
members at no charge.
For members, group classes are $150.00 for 10 sessions.
Private Lessons:
- $40.00 per lesson
- Lessons must be scheduled
- Multi-lesson discounts available
Private Lesson Guidelines:
- Must be scheduled and paid for in advance by the month
- May be affected by weather
- Will be made up in the event of coach cancellation
- May be shortened due to student tardiness in the event of
tight scheduling
- If paid for by the full quarter there will be a 1 week
discount
- Are due in the event of student no show
- Student must be a member of CFC
- Student must be a member of USFA
Please do not frivolously book lessons. Consult your calendar
and plan accordingly. There is no proviso or refund for emergency
cancellation.

1 lesson per week (48 weeks)
$2800.00 annually, This includes annual membership, 1 private
lesson per week and all group classes Monday
through Friday. This
is a savings of 0ver $350.00 per year!
$3060.00 annually (same as above and also includes the Saturday elite class)
This
is a savings of 0ver $450.00 per year!
2 lessons per week (96 lessons)
$4670.00 annually. This includes annual membership, 2 private
lessons per week and all group classes Monday
through Friday. This
is a savings of 0ver $400.00 per year!
$5530.00 annually (same as above and also includes the Saturday elite class) This
is a savings of 0ver $500.00 per year!
3 lessons per week (144 lessons)
$6490.00 annually. This includes annual membership, 3 private
lessons per week and all group classes Monday
through Friday. This
is a savings of 0ver $500.00 per year!
$7350.00 annually (same as above and also includes the Saturday elite class)This
is a savings of 0ver $600.00 per year!
Full
membership is included in the Elite fees!
Elite Fencers must:
- Pay annually (unless other arrangements are made)
- Fence at least 3 days per week or as many days as there are
lessons, whichever is greater.
- Attend at least 3 advanced footwork classes per month on Saturday
This
counts as 1 day
- Compete in at least one NAC event per year.
- Compete in at least one Sectional event per year
- Compete in all Divisional qualifying rounds and all Division
Championships
- Attend Summer Nationals
- Fencers must attend all lessons to the best of their ability
(cancellations will be re-scheduled whenever possible)
- Maintain a "B+" or higher scholastic average in
school
Elite Fencer will Get:
- Equipment discounts of 10% off all items purchased through CFC
- CFC Elite arm band/patch
- Free admittance into the Referee Course
- Employment as a referee if desired
Competition Coaching Rates:
All expenses are to be paid by
fencers ( Travel, meals, hotel etc.)
Plus $200.00 per day per diem
Divided by the number of fencers coached in individual events.
All rates are subject to change without notice.
Candlewood Fencing Center reserves the right to restrict any
individual from procuring or maintaining membership for any reason
or at any time .
