The CFC Summer Intensive Clinic is a Three week, Monday
through Saturday training program. This clinic is open to students
of all ages. The
student can take advantage of only one week or a combination of
weeks as the student's schedule permits. The first week is geared
for novice foil fencers who have no experience and wish to begin fencing.
The novice then may book into subsequent weeks as he or she desires.
The second week is geared towards the intermediate to advanced
fencer. Week three is for the intermediate to advanced fencer as
well. All weapons
are fenced in weeks 2 and 3. Weeks 2 and 3 have included
many Russian, Ukrainian and Italian students in the past. This is a great opportunity for American clinic fencers to add to
the fencing experience. The CFC Clinic is geared for the novice as
well as the serious advanced fencer who wishes to gain wider tactical knowledge
and experience.
The Coaches Include:
Tom Ciccarone, former Head Coach of Sacred Heart University and
Director of Candlewood Fencing Center
Alex Fotiyev, Ukrainian
National Sabre Champion,
Orest Stetsiv,
former Junior Olympic Soviet Sabre/Foil Coach
Alek Ulanovskiy,
a world class, and USFA, "A" rated epee fencer and trainer with over 20 years
experience Ukraine and Italy.
